Margit M. Hicks, P.A. Attorneys at Law was founded in 2001 with the vision of
providing valuable legal services to those in need. Our passion is to help families in times of distress, protect their rights and help them to start their lives over after the divorce process. Our family lawyers are able to do this on a daily basis because of our invaluable staff and our efforts as a team.
Meet our Team
Courtney M. Davis, Paralegal
Courtney was born and raised in Cascade, Virginia, the oldest of five children. After graduating from Tunstall High School in Dry Fork, Virginia, she entered the United States Army and served for eight years. She is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm.
After serving her country, Courtney then graduated from Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City, Alabama with an Associate’s in Applied Science in Criminal Justice and from Troy State University, Troy, Alabama with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
She has over twenty-five years of administrative legal assistance experience to include the District Attorney's Office and the United States Attorney's Office, both in Columbus, GA. She joined the law office of Margit M. Hicks, P.A. Attorneys at Law in 2005.
She is an active member of her church, supporting community programs. Courtney has been married for thirty years, has children and grandchildren who keep her young at heart.

Crystal S. Brown, Billing Department Manager
Crystal was born and raised in Fayetteville and attended Southview High School. She earned her paralegal degree from Fayetteville Technical Community College and began working with Blackwell, Luedeke& Hicks in 1996. She followed Margit Hicks to Margit M. Hicks, PA in 2001 and was essential to the founding of the law firm.
While employed with Margit M. Hicks, P.A. Attorneys at Law, she attended Nursing School at Sampson Community College and received her Master’s Degree in Nursing. She continues to work part-time in our billing department.
She is a member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses, she enjoys spending time at the beach and with her cats.
